VacuVin Makes Wine Better

Moran USA has rolled back the prices on all the VacuVin products we carry to 2008 levels. If you’re not selling them already, now’s the time to bring in these top quality products. Let us help you enhance your customer’s wine enjoyment and add to your profits.

Wine shops all over the world depend on VacuVin to offer their customers products to enhance their enjoyment of wine and food. The company was founded in 1986 by Bernd Schneider who, with his engineer brother, figured out a way to delay wine spoilage by pumping out the excess air in a bottle that is less than full.

VacuVin’s internationally patented products are manufactured mainly in the Netherlands, and are used in 35 million homes in 80 countries. The company has won 20 international design and trade awards. VacuVin products are made to conform to ISO* standards (see details below,) so you are guaranteed a product that is of the highest quality and safety.

In addition to the original pump and stoppers, there are several other VacuVin products that we carry that you might like to know about:

Twister Corkscrew #41460
It’s different because it has a patented “bottle grip” on the legs which holds the corkscrew firmly to the bottle. It’s easy because you just twist the handle and the cork floats up the worm with minimal effort. It’s helpful because it fits all size bottles.

Rapid Ice Chillers #41388, 41289, 41872, 41860, 41260
Have you ever forgotten to chill that bottle of wine until the last minute, tossed it in the freezer to chill and then forgotten to take it out? Goodbye wine! End that problem by instead keeping a Rapid Ice wine or champagne chiller in the freezer and putting it on the bottle that needs chilling. It works in minutes, keeps wine cold for hours.

Wine Pourer/Aerator #41560
This clever device was the winner of the 2012 “Innovation Award by “Housewares Executive Magazine”. It is inserted into the neck of the wine bottle and slows down the flow of the wine, allowing it to efficiently mix with air to enhance the flavors. Another benefit is that you can see any sediment as it flows through the transparent aerator and stop pouring before the sediment reaches the glass. The pourer/aerator comes apart for thorough cleaning.

Snap Thermometer #41850
This new product snaps on to any size bottle like a bracelet. On the back is a temperature index with the correct temperatures, in Fahrenheit and Celsius, at which to serve each type of wine. Snap it on and in minutes you’ll know the bottle temperature.

Vacuvin has great products for the bar as well.

Layering Tool #41610
This tool allows anyone to make professional cocktails. It slows down the flow of the liqueurs so that they neatly fall into separate bands based on the density of the liquid. The measurement funnel is based on the most popular cocktails so you can’t miss.

Cocktail Shaker #41408
The 12 oz. (350 ml) shaker has an “oxylock” system: close to shake, open to pour.  It has a built-in strainer and measures in ml or oz. Easy to clean, attractive to use.

Muddler Set #41508
Make cocktails in a jiffy with VacuVin’s set of muddler, tongs and jigger. The muddler, with its hard rubber tip, is used to bruise ingredients like mint or lime directly in the glass. Use the tongs to pick up ice cubes or other ingredients and the jigger for measuring. They are all designed to fit together so they’re always in one place.
